CARDIFF’S Steiner school has welcomed a report which champions the impact of outdoor learning on a child’s development.
Writing for the National Trust, author and TV producer Stephen Moss warns that a generation of children is beginning to lose touch with the natural world.
His report outlines a need to tackle the rise of “nature deficit disorder”, a term coined by American author Richard Louv to describe a growing dislocation between children and nature.
